Indiebound looks really promising as it indexes, displays, and allows you to centrall order books available through mom and pop bookstores across the country.
Better World's focus is on used books and reclaiming used books destined for the trash and selling them. I'm personally cool with that. And the only somewhat activist part of the company appears to be solely focused on literacy efforts which I'm also cool with.
