Friend of mine is a derm late 50s. Democrat. I asked him why the flu numbers were approaching zero this year, he said “duh, everyone is wearing masks”. I said then why are they still getting covid? I think i saw a glimmer of maybe questioning what he believes. The reality is flu numbers should probably be lower, mostly because a larger number of kids still arent in school. In my experience, thats the major vector for transmission of anything.
