If they have prepared the ballots in preparation for this reveal, I believe there would then be the opportunity to compare the suspected fraudulant ballots versus the scanned images. If they aren't pretty much the same, then BINGO.

Can easily compare a folded ballot against a scanned image of a ballot to prove it was folded afterwards.
