Potato head should be removed. They never changed the actual product and just change the branding to the name "Potato Head", which yes some may disagree with but I would agree its a good business decision. It was never some sort of woke statement and it was the AP framing it with the headline "a mister no more" to make people think that at first glance.
Why the fuck can't he be Mr. Potato Head. I promise you none of the idiots in on that product update decision will ever have an original idea that gains the traction and success of the original Mr. Potato Head idea.
He is Mr Potato head, the products didnt change only the general brand name and Logo for all products in the series. Mr Potato Head are ultimately dolls and dolls appeal more to girls than boys. I think the change is smart since it probably will result in better appeal overall and more sales for the female potato head.
