I'm a little jealous of my former self that was happy believing the lies and going with the crowd because it was easy to be part of popular opinion. The hardest part was admitting to myself how wrong I was and I was part of the problem. Every day is an uphill battle when I have to constantly look at these NPCs happily zipping through life who get to voice their opinions without recourse.
