I watch fringe Christian groups that believe they can predict the end of the world (hit: God said no one knows the answer, so if you think you know...).

They periodically re-adjust the math and predictions, and continue making predictions year after year. Historical documents suggest this has gone on since at least the 400s, possibly earlier. The advertiser media is going to continue to spin lies into a web for decades, or centuries.
