They're going to keep on and on attacking everything that belongs to him or is associated with him. They'll go after Barron in 2024 if Trump runs and accuse him of hurting girls. He'll be 18 then. Wait and see. You ain't seen nothing yet.

This will not stop.

The REAL problem however is that they know and Trump has behaved accordingly that this only makes Trump that much more beholden to the GOP for protection.

Why do you think there will not be a 3rd party?

Or that Trump has endorsed a series of Establishment candidates in the past few days?

THIS is why precisely why. He NEEDS the GOP.

Without the GOP, he is finished. And he knows it. The Dems will not stop coming at him. He needs the GOP's protection now.

He ran as a republican and look at where we are right now. He doesn't need the GOP.

Nope, he does. Not to be a politician. But to keep himself and his family out of prison and out of massive debt and literally physically safe.

Trump needing the GOP has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with his simple survival.

There is a whole lot of hurt that the courts and politicians in NY can inflict upon him.

The headline of the post you're commenting on contradicts you right away.

Lindsey, Ted, and Mitch didn't exactly come through for him in the end, did they?

3
softyieldingasshole 3 points ago +6 / -3

No, they did not. And that's the entire point. He had little leverage against them because he did not understand the traps they set for him.

They're assholes. But they're all very smart. And they all understood government law way better than he did. Lindsey and Mitch btw are way, wayyy smarter than Ted.

Light years ahead of him.

It would never even occur to Lindsey or Mitch to openly offer their enemies a weapon by running off to vacation in the aftermath of a debilitating storm.

That is why they're still in power while Ted Cruz's main income source come 2024 will be his 'podcast'.

And that is also why they set beautiful traps for the President like Kav and ACB, and got him to fall into those. They knew how to persuade him and 'guide' him from the start.

They were fucking with him wayyy before the end.

Now imagine if Trump or someone in his inner circle had a background in constitutional law and government law and knew the various judges and bureaucrats,

I don't really think it's as high level as that. It was basically "Here are your choices. If you try to pick anything else, not only will we not confirm it, we will vote with the Dems to impeach you (when they inevitably do, further down the line)"

It wasn't so much that he fell into a trap as he didn't have a choice. There wasn't really any persuasion to be done if he wanted to keep being president.

If that was the case, he should have told us.

The GOP isn’t his protection.

We are.

You can't make a call to a judge or an attorney in New York who owes you a favor and 'discuss' anything with him and offer to make a donation to his favorite charity.

GOP's fixers can.

Chopblock 6 points ago +6 / -0

GOP fixers are afraid of Trump’s base. We’re the only thing they fear more than the Democrat base.

The GOP establishment is opportunistic and will do anything to cling on to power. They're useful for the time being, but I don't expect the partnership to last if Trump gets back into office. We have to be practical and strategic here.

Here in Texas spot lighting for deer is illegal. Is spot lighting for qweers illegal in New York?

There won't be a third party because it would guarantee DNC wins by 13% every election.

2
softyieldingasshole 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then it was not exactly smart of Jared to push Trump to keep on and on and on trying desperately to get those 13% of the votes, no?

4
sickofaltspin 4 points ago +4 / -0

No, not 13% of voters, you guarantee a DNC win with a split conservative vote regardless of which half wins on the conservative side - Trump knows this too. He's better at math than you.

President Trump is the GOP. The GOP is nothing without President Trump.

He'll be 18 then

So what if he'll be 18? You have to be 35 years old by inauguration day, to be President or Vice President

adult age, adult "charges"

softyieldingasshole 4 points ago +5 / -1

This guy gets it. Quick study. You should run for office or run a campaign, seriously. You got it right away, that means you can see their attacks coming.

Please read my comment again. It was about the Dems accusing Barron next. It had nothing to do with Barron running for President. It had everything to do with Trump running for President.

Now think about what a devious government attorney can accuse an 18 year male of doing, if that attorney wanted to sink a Trump campaign run in 2024.

18 years of age is when Barron will legally be an adult.

Yep. My son was accused of being a school shooter the week he came of age. It had no basis in reality, but turned his, and his families worlds upside down for the rest of our lives.
