We actually had a dyke who got her job sleeping with the boss who insisted on being called Doctor [NAME]. One of the sysadmins asked what her discipline doctorate was in. When she answered, his eyes got real big and he blurted out "You can get a doctorate in recess?"

He did that on purpose and they never got along as long as they worked in the same dept.

LOL, ridiculous.

Someone insisting that others use "titles" to address them is a sure sign of insecurity and weakness. And a huge red flag for others to avoid them.
