Does lifting the "mask mandate" in Texas mean that businesses actually don't have those stupid signs up on their doors saying masks are required?

Just curious. It's entirely possible for there not to be a "mask mandate," but still have plenty of large corporate businesses being idiots.

I'm in Florida and we've had that policy for months. Most places don't bother you; some businesses will ask you to mask up. When that happens, I politely say no thanks, and go to a store where I don't have to bother. I've never been stopped at a restaurant or bar. Life is fairly normal.
