I'd like to see the Olympics completely abolished. It has turned into a massive corruption industry, and most of the athletes are just pawns. Let each sport run its own world championships, when and where it's own governing body chooses, with whatever rule its own governing body chooses. Governments should not be involved in promoting any kind of sporting events.
