Fascism is a lot closer to what they practice than the folks they prey on. They just use this to paint themselves as the good guy so they have free reign to prey on whoever they want, by claiming those folks are fascists. I think most Democrats realize it's bullshit, but it's scary that a good portion of them don't and are happy to inflict violence on folks they only disagree with.
