OPEC for February and March cut back supply on contracts to the US believing they could get away with it without Trump. What OPEC is doing in April has not been reported yet.
Now a reminder on what the Petro-Dollar System is: OPEC only trades oil in US dollars and when they think about changing that we invade their country. By manipulating gas prices, you can control for inflation on thousands of goods and services... so yeah.
We dont need OPEC we are not only energy independant and until Democrats invented covid were exporting like mad.now were removing infrastructure. When the surplus is gone your looking at five bucks a gal and then even more.
OPEC still sets gas prices, they just don’t set energy costs. But one of the first thing Biden did was undo US energy independence. Now the Chinese can interfere with our energy, which is ridiculous. Why should anyone buy Americans have access to our grid?
