I will not go into it but Alex had a choice many times and it does get frustrating. Think what he means is if he never met the President, his life would have been easier. But he took the long road. Who spoke before the President? Do you think the President would have him on a stage? And guess who paid for a ton of it? He went to bat for the President and got things done. Nothing is free.
