Man, I have nothing but sympathy for you from what I've seen. Australia has had some of the most hands-down insane and brutal Covid responses outside of China.

I used to want to move to Australia and it breaks my heart to see how abusive the government is and how little power the people there seem to have to stop it.

No one in Sydney Cares. Only thing I notice different is you sign in using a webform when you eat in a restaurant and there is hand sanitizer everywhere

Other states have been morons about it and I will rage when they force the vaccine to fly. I will protest.

Spoken like a true cowed, uniformed and obedient know-nothing. :) Have you seen how crazy the people running our culture and institutions are here? People need opioids just to survive.

We've got our own problems we need to fix, before we rub other countries noses in it. I'm not at all happy about the lockdown bullshit here and I wish everyone in the world the best of luck getting this bullshit undone.

I say fuck any country where citizens voluntarily turn their arms over to the government...

most of my friends have rifles. i have 2. In qld. it just takes lots of paperwork to own. you have to take a full day safety course. then you can apply for your gun license which requires a bunch of paperwork and verifying your identity and reason for acquiring a gun. Then that paperwork takes few months to be processed. Then once you get your gun license you apply for a permit to acquire (a gun). Then you go to the gun store and buy a gun and ammo. Your gun license is also connected to your car rego so when you are driving around the cops computer will pop up that your car is connected with a gun license and they can pull you over and see if gun is in car. It fucked.

It was not really voluntarily there was just alot of paper work involved. And things like you have to be a part of a registered gun club and or own property or blah blah blah

My mate has 3 rifles and 2 pistols. You can still own them but it is hard damn work. And honestly shooting a pest on his farm with a bolt action sucks. If you miss you get no chance to get it.
