South Carolina never had a mask mandate.

5
BasedEngineer 5 points ago +5 / -0

Same with GA. Some tried to say there were "local mandates", but I never listened to that shit.

2
MrWombatt 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. If there's one thing I'll credit Kemp with, is him ending lockdowns and mask mandates much earlier.

Women4Trump2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

Neither did Florida but it didn’t stop the blue counties from imposing mask mandates. Call for legislation to ban mask mandates.

Email this to your state representatives:

The Idaho House Introduced a Law To Ban Mask Mandates. Our State Can Follow Suit!

In Idaho, the state legislature just introduced a new law that will BAN mask mandates in the state. The representative who introduced the bill said she had done her research and that healthy individuals are being harmed by the masks. Our state can introduce a similar bill to make forced masking illegal, especially in schools.

I want to not only end the state wide mask mandate but to ban local ones too.

14
dldeuce 14 points ago +15 / -1

And ban businesses from requiring them.

-12
ShitOfPeace -12 points ago +1 / -13

I'm actually okay with businesses requiring them as long as we can get a handle on all the woke idiots ruining these companies' unions and upper management with their idiotic ideology.

15
Isolated_Patriot 15 points ago +15 / -0

Tyranny is NOT acceptable just because it's a "private corporation."

Convincing you otherwise is exactly why the corporations are in charge of censoring what the government could not.

10
WhiteLash 10 points ago +10 / -0

^ This. Quit being a fucking cuck “muh private business”. Here in Texas I’m straight up going super Karen on every business that tries to continue forcing employees or customers to wear masks. Reporting the fuck out of them and harassing them in person. Fuck them

2
IslamIsEvil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Business CAN require their employees to wear masks, like they can require uniforms.

BUT...businesses CANNOT require customers to wear masks. This part may need to be clarified by every state.

1
ShitOfPeace 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't agree. Businesses can require customers to wear a mask if they want.

We shouldn't be telling businesses what they can or can't do inside their business, as stupid as it may be (and I do in fact think it's stupid obviously).

I will personally not patronize a business that chooses to do this though.

Again, all this is with the caveat that we can get a handle on the idiotic wokeness infiltrating upper management, HR and unions in the largest companies in the US. These woke morons are infiltrating these companies and making political decisions that violate the company's fiduciary duty to it's shareholders.

Fuck That!

forget about ending it. They need to ban all businesses from enforcing it. I am in texas but my workplace still mandates it just like all the liberal businesses in dallas will. Abbot needs to grow some balls and stop businesses and private areas from enforcing private mask policies and open to lawsuits.

dldeuce 7 points ago +7 / -0

See Texas HB 2097 Prevents the governor AND nd local authorities from mandating masks https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/pdf/HB02097I.pdf#navpanes=0.

We need it introduced in the Senate, and we need them to prohibit businesses from requiring one.

You're right. The damage has been done. Lots of businesses are going to leave their signs up and double up on their Karen nazis for all those that would dare take their mask off on Wednesday. We'll see if Texans have the guts to tell these people where they can put their masks. We didn't stand up to these dictators. Will we stand up against these corporate Karens? Yet to be seen.

Call your reps about all the bills I've listed in this thread.

Alabama, Kay ivy, no way. She got no balls

I never wore one anyway so there is a small victory.

Would rather see the whole state open though

7
ShadowyMrBlank 7 points ago +7 / -0

In Ohio you can forget it. Mike DeWine is beyond obsessed with Covid to the point where taking the mask off is like an astronaut taking his helmet off on a space walk.

7
DahRage 7 points ago +7 / -0

This. He needs to go.

Still not wearing one on my beer route, unless the customer literally threatens to throw me out

2
OhioRed87 2 points ago +2 / -0

I sent one anyways. That asshole needs to be pounded with emails either way

2
KeeptheChief 2 points ago +2 / -0

And our legislature has an empty sack where their balls should be.

South Dakota never mandated masks as far as I know. I recall watching Noem say so recently too.

6
Alaskan 6 points ago +6 / -0

Alaska never had a mask mandate.

7

Well don't Alaska's have to wear face masks anyways for real reasons, like their face freezing off??

Wish I could, but my home state is South Dakota.

Glad TX is leading the pack for removing masks.

3
mobgrazer 3 points ago +3 / -0

missouri never had one.

1
Red_Hibiscus 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’d be great to keep businesses from requiring it though. I’ve McFuckin’ had it with that bullshit.

3
RatioInvictus 3 points ago +3 / -0

WRONG. Everyone should be contacting their governors and telling them:

"You don't have the authority to tell ANYBODY to wear masks. Get back in your fucking box."

Of course companies might still do it. My company HQ'd in Texas is still telling employees to do so.

5
dldeuce 5 points ago +5 / -0

and you thought there was any difference between the corporations and the government? At this point, it's close to 100% collusion. The damage has been done. The state and local dictators lead the way on this. The sheep have followed. Now the traitor corporations can continue on without the need for government regulation. The dirty politicians like Abbott get the glory of the national press, just in time to start their campaign for another fraudulent election. This is the new normal.

2
WhiteLash 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lawsuits are the only way to stop the lunacy. Every single one of those companies used the executive order as the precedent for having the “rules” they cannot just continue forcing people into this. Just ignore their rules. Make them press the issue

3
mymymyTuckerface 3 points ago +3 / -0

I already did here!

2
dldeuce 2 points ago +2 / -0

And Texans contact their representatives about these bills to put a stop to Dictator Abbott who's getting so much good press lately. Don't you love how Texas GOP politicians get so much great press, but in reality, yeah, they're not so great?

HB2196 eliminates the power of the Governor to suspend laws under emergency powers. The Democrats passed an unconstitutional law granting these emergency powers in 1975 with super majorities and a democrat governor. It specifically violates Article 1 sec. 28 of the Texas constitution. You know, after the last dictator Republican Governor Davis ran roughshod over the state with martial law, suspending habeus corpus, imprisoning his political opposition, and refusing to leave office after he lost the election. He was finally removed from the capital at gunpoint in 1873. We amended the constitution in 1875 to fix that.

HB 2196 eliminates this democrat abomination from 1975. It stops Abbott from any further abuses. My representatives tell me this bill will likely get no Democratic support as they wait with baited breath for their next opportunity to "elect"/appoint a governor after the precedence that Abbott has set. Please support this bill with everything you have. We will likely need a 2/3 majority to pass it unless we bring Abbott to his knees and force him to sign it. https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/html/HB02196I.htm

HB1406 codes into law the power of the people to redress abuses of emergency powers in the courts by specifically defining standing for every citizen. I have been told that all of the lawsuits challenging Abbott's abuses have been dismissed on standing. https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/html/HB01406I.htm

HB 2097 Prevents the governor AND nd local authorities from mandating masks https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/pdf/HB02097I.pdf#navpanes=0. We need to add to that bill in the Senate to include private businesses.

HB 2098 Prevents the governor and local authorities from defining penalties for violating emergency rules. The governor shouldn't be the sole source to define laws, penalties, and then execute those penalties against the people. It's a separation of powers issue. https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/html/HB02098I.htm

SB 18 (By Rep. Creighton) Prevents the governor and local authorities from regulating firearms, ammunition, and firearm related business under emergency powers. https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/html/SB00018I.htm

My grandparent murdering governor Adolf Wolf will never cede his newfound dictatorial powers.

2

Imagine still giving a fuck about what the government has to say. They lost that right when they let maskless rioters terrorize the residents of my former city for months, smashing and burning whatever they wanted.

2
Ebbie8708 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got Ducey. We don’t have a state mandate, but Maricopa county board of health or some sh— runs this state because it’s the largest county.

Also my damn mayor. F him.

2

Really? We have to ask them for permission?

1
flyover_deplorable 1 point ago +1 / -0

My fight here in a red state that never had a mask mandate is with the schools. They are requiring masks not for the children's safeguards but rather so they do not have to quarantine kids and teachers should a student test positive.

1
Candygram_for_Mongo 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree, contact governors. Just keep in mind they have an agenda with other elitists and that's the deciding point. Not you.

1

I’m gonna ask Pritzker. Think he will be on board?

Mississippi here. Hopefully we stay normal. The last time the governor tried this his daughter got covid and he recended the order.

1

I did in ND yesterday. Gotta be pretty fucking stupid to even mandate it here

1
CJBarnacle 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hate to break it to you, but businesses will still require it and people will still mask up voluntarily to "save lives." We have been thoroughly mindfucked.

Missouri here, Parson is pretty cool and we haven't had any mandates for a while now (and I don't think ever one forcing masks, just occupancy & gathering limits which are still just as unconstitutional). Too bad I live under the tyrannical rule of Sam Page. Hell even Lyda Krewson is slightly more lenient on her rulings, she didn't ban indoor dining the second time yet King Page did.
