I finally had an epiphany. I have been trying to figure out why certain elites have always been pushing communism, and why it always makes a comeback. I just couldn’t figure it out, or what their goal was. But now it makes sense.
Communism is simply a way to achieve power. That was already obvious, but I’ve also realized it ultimately becomes an oligarchy politically. A small group of elite live rich, while the population is essentially enslaved.
Obviously nobody will willingly give up their freedom into servitude without a fight, so subversion is used to trick the populace into willingly giving up their freedom and their country. They use deceit to get into power. No different than a sneaky car salesman or banker. The people think they are getting a good deal.
It’s simply a trick on the population to willingly be taken over without a fight, and that’s why it keeps coming back.
Great points! I think we overestimate the number of people who actually value freedom in the first place. Plenty just want "security"
I think communism, as we're seeing it right now, is just another form of ancient oppression. A ruler manipulates religion and resources to subdue the masses. Climate change fear mongering as religion and various welfare programs for resources, for example. Obviously covid adds an entire new level of fear and resource control
