I've lost my parents..... 🚔 PARTY OF CRIME 🚔
posted ago by MikelovesTrump ago by MikelovesTrump +1327 / -2

So, I went to visit my parents after almost a year of them refusing physical visits. They now feel somewhat safe. My dad decides to start trashing Trump. He was spitting out every lie that we've seen shared by CNN/MSNBC/ fake news. He claimed that there was no voter fraud, no antifa at the capital and that the Proud Boys are the ones who burned down cities last year and that BLM was trying to protect their communities. He then went on a rant that I shouldn't have a right to say anything because I didn't vote when I was 24 years old. He made the ridiculous statement that we came SO close to losing our Democracy. My son and I sadly got up and quietly walked out from the visit. My parents are lost. They spent the last 4 years being programmed and there is no hope. They have been lied to so much that no amount of "proof" will change their minds.

Many older people are suffering a kind of ptsd due to the corvid fear mongering, political panic, isolation, lack of contact, socializing, smiles, etc... its really sad, dont give up, call them, keep connection, books, art, music, food, anything away from the news for a while... my folks finally agreed that no news is best....

There are based and woke in every generation. When I think of a Marxist leftist, Grandma's image does not pop into my mind. I think of the teen and college age kids rioting last summer - the masses of indoctrinated pouring out of our schools.

Anyone who listens, unquestioning, to establishment sources will be brainwashed. Doesn't matter if it is the MSM or your history Professor. After that, you can tell them something is 100% factual, even show hard evidence to back up your position, and they will simply claim you're lying or making it up and re-write history to fit their agenda. They KNOW the sky is green.

10
SuddenlyClintoned 10 points ago +10 / -0

It's kind of evolved in the last 2-4years from refusing that your evidence is true to "That IS true, but that's only because <insert unproven claim of racism/etc>" - it makes it impossible to argue with them because they'll just revert to point 1 on any further discussion.

They were indoctrinating commie theory in my high school, we all thought it was a joke...

8
Pede 8 points ago +11 / -3

Old people are floating in the darkness, and when they find a thought they hold onto it. They don't consider context or other thoughts like someone with a healthy brain. They hold onto that one thought with everything they have, for fear of slipping back into the darkness where they can't keep a train of thought or remember where they are. "Old" for some people is 50. Those people keep up appearances for years and can talk and do things as if their brain works, but they are slowly losing it.

12
Granny 12 points ago +12 / -0

Pede it sounds like you personally know of some old people who are mentally losing it, but many old folks are still quite sharp. Some of them are Pedes right here with us!!!

14
Deplorable-Dreg 14 points ago +14 / -0

Thank you, Granny. I'm a 74 yr old MAGA pede, Trump supporter, patriot. Age is not the problem here.

5
Pede 5 points ago +5 / -0

Indeed mentally "old" can be a wide range of ages, like I suggested. I know people over 70 who can think through things very well. People's bodies and likewise their brains decline, and I think that's how their thinking changes in not being willing to think on the outskirts of a thought as much because they are less adept at holding it all together. So the point is, when an old person is being stubborn or alarmingly brainwashed as the OP's parents, even if they seem quite functional it may be more a decline than anything external, if they weren't always like that.

3
2016TrumpMAGA 3 points ago +4 / -1

Here's the deal:

IQ declines as people get older. The decline starts at different ages, and progresses at different rates for different people. The decline becomes most apparent after retirement, when most people simply use their brain less. Most people do not lose very much, which is a good thing, because most people do not have a lot to lose. The average IQ is 100, and if you've ever had a conversation with an IQ 100, you know that they're pretty much dumbfucks. Now, imagine that dumbfuck with ten or fifteen fewer IQ points.

ROTFLMAO. I am 71. No way am I “keep up appearances for years and can talk and do things as if their brain works, but they are slowly losing it.”. You sound like a no-nothing millennial

I find it very hard to believe that a 71 year old is on a PC and on this website. From experience other 71 year olds don't even know how the TV remote works.

There is a serious problem in this country where people see a handful of people act a certain way and then they think everyone acts that same way.

Very well said. These people isolated themselves from the world and their only outlet was the TV. It's a downward spiral of ever increasing fear and a detachment from reality. Once they get out and around people they'll come back down to earth hopefully, but we'll see. I'm sorry they were so scared and kept you away. Enjoy the time with your boy and being the best dad you can.

My boomer dad thinks the local abc/nbc/cbs affiliate isn't fake news and he's super smart because he doesn't watch cnn. Believes all the shit op's dad does. My mom and I can show him video evidence and he denies it. Boomers didn't kill krauts mouthbreather. Their parents did.

41
Deadpool 41 points ago +42 / -1

You beat me to it. The “greatest generation” killed the krauts. The boomers were their kids. 👌 well said pede.

10

7
DebbieinDallas 7 points ago +7 / -0

No, the boomers were split into conservatives and rabble rouser spoiled brat hippies like Bill Clinton. The hippies voted Dem and Liberal. It is the Dems and Liberals that cause all of our problems today, and their kids and grandkids. My generation thought communism was bad. Now most millennials think it is good. Thank a Commie Dem teacher for that.

13

Yeah. My hubby and I are millennials.

We are in the minority of our generation.

11
HunterLuvsCrack 11 points ago +11 / -0

We are a rare few, I’m 25 and almost all of my friends now after college are 40+ for good reason.

5
Here_we_go 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm 45, hubby is 40. We have a toddler. We keep saying we are the last generation that they are aiming to kill off. Older people (60+) already are set in their ways and cant fight like when they are younger and everyone under 30 is already indoctrinated to the bs. I know not "all" but it isnt easy to find normal people to just be friends with that have young kids. Thankfully I am a sahm and will be homeschooling and my boy will be in many activities.

1
Kavvfefe 1 point ago +1 / -0

People can change, they need a reason , otherwise habits set in

2
FutileConundrum 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's tough.

2
HunterLuvsCrack 2 points ago +2 / -0

But strangely I’d rather have it this way. Something happens in everyone’s lives that forces their social to be smaller. Nothing good in life worth holding onto comes easy. Besides, even in my mid 20s sooo many people my age can’t even get their own place still because they’re lazy so yeah fuck those kinds of people.

32
MikelovesTrump [S] 32 points ago +33 / -1

27
Redditcensorsyouandi 27 points ago +28 / -1

How does he reconcile the fact that Bidens own VP, Heels Up Harris, basically called him a racist during the dem debates?

Or that democrats started the kkk?

Or that Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves?

Sucks man, I know logic and facts mean little to liberal feelings, but for fucks sake, your mom should at least want to defend womens sports from biological males!

Red pills everywhere but libs are violently allergic aren't they?

9
HunterLuvsCrack 9 points ago +9 / -0

You can "pretty much assure me" huh? Thats the dumbest shit I've heard all day. Talking with democrats is like being lectured by a child. Own the fact that dems started the kkk you absolute pinecone.

Also there are only 2 genders, Biden cheated their way into the white house, and Trump was the best President youve ever had but youre too stupid to see it. You trust cnn to tell you if Hcq works or not over doctors. You probably wear 3 masks just like the ccp controlled WHO told you to like a good little sheep. You probably are ok with keystone pipeline being axed and coincidentally bombing syria within the week. You probably hoped for free gibs with loan forgiveness and 15$ minimum wage to flip burgers. Gtfo with your retarded shit. Youre on the wrong website, BidensBallsack.com is over here.

22
fthecoup 22 points ago +22 / -0

Go devil's advocate on these types. Take THEIR logic to its extreme. Have fun with it.

ex.: Just heard on CNN that Trump is a space alien who is sending innocent black children to his home planet for food.

The KGB did pay Americans $50 and a case of Budweiser to vote for Trump.

At the rate police are executing innocent blacks, blacks will be extinct before climate change extinguishes earth in 9 years.

If Democrats outlaw guns, America will become the Garden of Eden.

and so forth............

They don't call it the Darwin Award for nothing. These people are what Stalin &al called useful idiots and it's painful to realize they're in our families.

My brother went full LGBTQ and I disowned him a decade ago for it. Now the only time I think of him is when some collection agency or state investigator is trying to track him down for something or another.

Same with the coof: staying in the company even of deluded grandparents puts your Liberty at risk because if they're willing to fight you at a visit they're willing to rat you out to the cops for any number of imagined transgressions against their religion.

They watch twisted YouTube videos all day long.

They can see the truth but they won't let the truth register. My Dad had told me that China loved Trump and that China hates Joe. When I pointed out that China loves Joe and has for years he told me that everything is backwards, Joe loving China means that Trump loves China. These people are lost.......

17
AlexWin1939 17 points ago +17 / -0

I mean wow yeah that’s some serious mental gymnastics. Sorry pede! I’ve got some libtards in my family but why you are describing is like libtard derangement.

2
Waffleyumboy 2 points ago +2 / -0

All libtards are deranged in my experience. My sister for example strongly hates Trump. I asked her why and she simply said "he's a potato". I tried to explain to her all of the good things Trump has done and how he acknowledged the threat of Chyna virus well before Dems did but her brainwashing is just too great and she wouldn't hear it.

Change the scenario for sake of clarity: if you were a bystander or even a lifeguard and they were drowning,

Would you let them drown you too ? Of course not. You must shove them away to save your own life.

This concept works with all similar scenarios: burning fires, quicksand, moving trains/trucks . . .

Here there is no need for them to die -- simply that you let them go for the sake of your own sanity and peace of mind.

Keep them in your prayers but do not keep them in your life.

16
Azkyler 16 points ago +16 / -0

I’m sorry to hear that has become the case..last year I contact a cousin who lives upper middle class philly suburb..the last time I spoke to her I was 5 (she was in her early 20s at the time) I’m now 60. 1
BeardedNinjaPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

What happened is the media portrayed the white ANTIFA as white supremacists with no proof of course. The Proud Boys have also been falsely smeared as white supremacists therefore the Proud Boys were the rioters. Leftist logic.

11
tholins 11 points ago +12 / -1

I’m sorry, man. That hurts.

Just remember, there’s a breaking point for almost everybody, but it’s also different for everybody. Family is more important than politics. You don’t have to stop talking to them, and you certainly don’t have to stop loving them. Something will eventually happen, or you’ll find an avenue of discussion, to help bring them to their senses. Don’t give up hope.

The programming is deep, but it’s also based on lies. Reality always catches up.

9
freebirdie 9 points ago +9 / -0

I wish you were correct. I've been battling with my libtard mother for decades, trying to get her to understand and see the truth. She has literally walked away from me with her fingers stuffed in her ears going "lalalala".

I will never change her mind, so I limit my contact with her. If there was a way to walk away clean, right now, I'd do it in a minute. I've no doubt that these same family members will turn us in to the new gestapo for re-education one day.

Their programming is complete. There is no hope for change. There is no reality in their world. Logic checked out years ago.

6
DeusVultIntensifies 6 points ago +6 / -0

I like the sentiment Pede- but really the parents chose to squander the time they had to visit with their son/daughter and grandson and appeared to verbally abuse them. I mean realistically what type of relationship are we talking here if they come to their senses? They appear to hold little value in treating their family members with love or warmth. Sometimes it is better to walk away than to cling to the illusion that the people you love actually love you when their treatment shows otherwise.

Just because someone is a parent or an adult it does not mean the a competent.

You dad is a little insecure weasel of a "man" and he knows it which is why he reacted the way he did. The only thing you need to say is that you cultist like you are so far lost in your insane beliefs that you actually believe that it is totally normal for a mentally ill man in a dress to be in a position of government thanks to your Biden.

Not every parent is good, and you should feel no guilt in staying away from them until they come to their senses. Use them as an example not to raise your son.

1
LeftyTearsWillFlow 1 point ago +1 / -0

I learned a few years ago that a parent is just another human being who happened to birth you into this world. In my opinion, you don't really owe them shit. It must stem from hatred and jealousy of Trump, because no older person in their right mind can deny the contrasts between the Obama administration and the Trump administration. Propaganda is a powerful thing and when people have weak minds, propaganda takes control. How very sad for you. I was a Democrat and just like them for almost 40 years. I did not believe that the media or Democrats would lie to me, or that they were so corrupt. Keep your head held high. You are upholding truth, which is more valuable than anything your parents can claim to hold.

Propaganda is a virus in of itself. Keep your family. Just nod and let them know they are welcome to their opinions on events. Eventually their world view will begin to collapse and they’ll come back to the light. It will just take patience.

Love them anyway. You only have one mom and one dad.

We're required to honor mother and father, nothing else not even love them. They made us by giving us life for that they are honored.

I fucking hate my family for being progressive fundamentalist that only want to kill people due to their immutable characteristics.

Ditto with my only brother last summer. The TDS is strong in his blue county in a purple state.

Dad will get redpilled too late- when mom sends him packing.

Mom on the other hand- might take her wickedness to the grave. There’s something about unkept feminism, the lack of responsibility for such division. The pussy privilege for women is a very confusing thing.

Had an exceedingly old man ranting in the barbershop about Trump. I and the other guys didn't make eye contact or verbally respond to the ignorant ass. We just looked at each other, shook our heads, and kept reading our magazines. Why bother.

It's pretty sad. Imagine being locked away in a prison of fear and your only outlet to the outside world keeps telling you to be afraid. Your parents were strong for you when you were a weak child, now you must be strong for them
