Reparations is nothing but a carrot that democrats dangle in front of blacks to get their unwavering support.

Reparations will never happen because they cannot afford to lose the black vote and if they lose that carrot they wont have anything to get blacks to the polls.

Its much safer to pretend they want want it but cant get it because of republicans. If they blame republicans, they not only get to keep their money but they get to demonize the right.

Dems know that if they give reparations they will never be able to give enough to satisfy the black community and therefore they risk the backlash.
