And let's not forget how they must vote for them by using their ballots.

The propaganda wing of the DNC is most of the MSM.

CNN: How white supremacy impacts inner city education

9
nozonozo 9 points ago +9 / -0

I didn't think any white supremacists lived in the inner city.

GlobalUnity 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ha… you are right! Smart one, therefore white supremacists clearly caused this!!!

GlobalUnity 6 points ago +7 / -1

This is beyond the teacher's union … this is the consequence of "equality" and "diversity"; no matter how much people are conditioned to reject that realty.

It's really a crime against humanity what has been done to children by forcing integration with africans and hispanics to a lesser degree. I only spent a little time in public school, but when your public schools have multiple lockdowns due to race riots caused by degenerate African behavior and country boy hotheadedness, as is not unusual in many places where there are a lot of Africans in the south, then all but the dumbest brainlet should be able to tell that something is wrong. Reality is that mostly white children are being abused on a massive scale by being exposed and subjected to mostly African degeneracy and violence.

Prove me wrong, let's do an experiment in the south; two schools, one all white and one all black, both have the same number of teachers who are paid exactly the same and are hired in the same blind manner and both schools are identical buildings with the exact same resources. Let see how things turn out over the course of just 5 or maybe even 10 years.

I hear loads of parents are finding alternatives for education. The schools closing might have been one of the greatest things to come out of this horrible disaster

This is why I put my daughter through private school.

Her school just released a statistic showing that 5th graders there scored 96% higher than most of the country for standardized tests.

96% higher!

I was reading an article that a high school student wrote and was blown away at how articulate this person was with their writing. I thought I was reading a published article, it was that good. Apparently, that's just the norm for the high school kids here.

I vowed that I would never let my daughter attend a public school after seeing results. She is only 3 and she already knows how to write her name and identify which letter certain words begin with.

She even knows the "our father" prayer and insists on praying before we eat dinner every day.

I'm not even a religious person, but that right there blew me away. Ever heard of a 3 year old saying, "God bless you" every time you sneeze? Or say, "Thank you ma'am / sir" when addressing an adult? Me either. Certainly not public school pre-k kids.

Too bad most whites cannot afford to put their children through private school to shield them from the terror of africans and hispanics.

Dathurtz 2 points ago +2 / -0

The big advantage that private schools have is that they don't have to accept everyone. The teachers are usually about the same. The administration are about the same. Even the policies are about the same. The difference is that private schools don't have to admit "low performing" students. For my area, the top and middle performing students in public school outperform the same demographic from private schools, even though the private schools have a much higher average.

LibertyPrimeWasRight 1 point ago +1 / -0

In general that may be accurate, but it sure doesn't sound like that's the case here. Nothing that's "about the same" as a public school would have taught her a prayer, and maybe not manners.

Who are you talking about?

Who is it that wants this?

I am a teacher. My students are very successful in my subjects. My state administers an end of course test and my students exceed expected growth every time. I also teach AP Calculus and the majority of my students pass that test also.

I have had students visit me from their college and thank me. Their parents also thank me. On numerous occasions parents have called the school and requested/demanded that their child be in my class.

This past semester a parent (who is a principal at another school) had her daughter put into my class remotely even though her daughter attends a different high school.

I am not saying all teachers are great or even good. I am not saying that public schools are working correctly. I am saying that these blanket statements about “these idiots” that want to keep children stupid are comical.

This specific case was in BALTIMORE. Does ANYTHING in Baltimore function correctly? Look at the faculty there, look at the students, look at the community.

Public sector unions should be illegal. Period. Even if you aren't a failure at your job.

25
PieceOfParchment7 25 points ago +25 / -0

Completely agree.

Government jobs should not have unions.

23
magacoder 23 points ago +23 / -0

The answer to your question is Democrats.

There's a reason why this is happening in Baltimore and pretty much every other blue city in urban areas.

The system is setup to fail these kids so they don't become too uppity.

It's the same reason they are opposed to school of choice.

Does ANYTHING in Baltimore function correctly?

Yes, the rich areas. The urban areas are left to fend for themselves with limited policing and run down schools. Both contribute to gangs which worsen the problem and continue the cycle.

9
edxzxz 9 points ago +9 / -0

Baltimore ghetto inhabitants insisted on limited policing several years ago after cops had to shoot some drug dealer who went after them. They aren't victims of anything other than their own stupid decisions.

1
magacoder 1 point ago +1 / -0

These are decades old problems. Even if some think they want that, there's a huge amount in the community that do want more policing. The people who call the police in those areas are black too.

They have long been domesticated by Democrats and can no longer think for themselves properly. It'll take a long time to reverse the effect if anyone could win those Democratic cities.

The media narrative that they are owed something and are victims furthers the thoughts that they deserve welfare, handouts, and the right to do whatever they want.

Raised properly blacks can be a net positive on society, but majority of the time they are missing a crucial cultural teacher in some form.

You have to provide an economy for jobs and get them off of welfare, allow school of choice and bust teacher unions. Buff up policing and also break up the police unions.

The teachers and administrators they put in certain schools are a joke, and it's not just black majority schools nows. They will domesticate everyone.

When blacks migrated to the rust belt for jobs, what did the Dems do in response? Move manufacturing overseas and destroy communities. They were becoming to uppity. Look at Detroit and similar cities now.

I do not doubt that you care about your student's education, but tell me honestly that you think that is the case for a majority if your felliws in whatever cities are in your State.

My mom is a based elementary school teacher (teaches actual history, manners, personal accountability, etc) so I get where you’re coming from. It’s not the teachers, it’s the busy body administration and government that wants to control everything

19
fclampazzo 19 points ago +19 / -0

Well, it used to not be the teachers. These days I am not so sure -- they all come out of these same crazy universities with a lot of mental SJW baggage.

These statements are made because we have seen an email from a Democrat donor to John Podesta (when he was the campaign manager for Hillary) in which the donor stated:

And as I've mentioned, we've all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly.

Most of us believe this goal has been accomplished using the public education system, most likely with the Common Core curriculum. You probably are a very good teacher and haven't seen this because you teach an advanced math. It does exist though. Children have been dumbed down throughout the US and it's thanks to the public education failing them and parents being unaware this is happening. Guilt lays on both.

That parent was already failing by sticking her head in the sand. Incapable of homeschooling in my opinion!

I agree how did she not know her child only passed three classes in four years? I knew all of the grades my children got until FERPA (government) interfered in college.

She did know, but they kept moving him up, so she didn't think there was anything wrong with it.

malarky [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

She could have looked at his report card, maybe at least once in a few years.
