Who are you talking about?

Who is it that wants this?

I am a teacher. My students are very successful in my subjects. My state administers an end of course test and my students exceed expected growth every time. I also teach AP Calculus and the majority of my students pass that test also.

I have had students visit me from their college and thank me. Their parents also thank me. On numerous occasions parents have called the school and requested/demanded that their child be in my class.

This past semester a parent (who is a principal at another school) had her daughter put into my class remotely even though her daughter attends a different high school.

I am not saying all teachers are great or even good. I am not saying that public schools are working correctly. I am saying that these blanket statements about “these idiots” that want to keep children stupid are comical.

This specific case was in BALTIMORE. Does ANYTHING in Baltimore function correctly? Look at the faculty there, look at the students, look at the community.
