And - most important of all, as this was their ultimate goal - to make it a federal CRIME for a church or minister to refuse to marry couples who are gay and/or transgender. Their program all along since “Love is love, just let gays marry” is that ANY lifestyle choice cannot be judged or shunned by the Christian church - specifically Catholic and Evangelical. (They will get around to Temples and Mosques, but that’s not their focus right now.) They have victory in sight of their dream of attaching the LGBTQ agenda on the back of black civil rights. If they push this disastrous “bill” through (which they are on track to do and Biden will sign it immediately) there will be no legal difference between refusing to perform a marriage ceremony for a black/white couple or refusing to officiate a gay or transgender “wedding”.
