That's a shady disgusting loophole some cities and counties in FL found. They cannot fine or enforce any form of mask mandate on people but they are allowed to tell businesses to require masks.
Once upon a time it was illegal to wear a mask in a store unless you had a medical condition. You know, security cameras need to see people's faces for when they track down criminals. I wish DeSantis would return to that and force these stores to stop.
I've chosen to no longer shop at certain stores because I only shop at stores that don't require masks. When this is all over with, I don't know if I'll ever shop at certain stores again like Walmart, Target, Publix, Best Buy, Ikea, to name a few.
But hey, all the money I've saved from no longer wasting it can go to many better things. There were times my wife and I would walk through a Walmart, or shopping mall for 1 or 2 hours just looking and end up buying lots of shit we didn't need and ended up not even using much.
It's not up to us to support any business. It's up to a business to cater to us. Remember this, everyone, remember this and never forget it. We do not need to support every business. Yes it can and will inconvenience people and that's ok. Businesses have to reminded that WE ARE IN CONTROL, not them.
The government needs to be reminded that we are in control, not the government. We have power in numbers and no violence is ever needed. Together we are strong, individually they can get us.
It can also be something simple like, grab a few friends to go to a store that requires masks but go without a mask. If that store doesn't like making money, fuck em, never return to the store.
The other day someone on Gab was saying their Walmart had installed facial recognition tech at the doorways and when they asked what was going on, the response was "we're collecting facial recog on all who don't comply with mask requirements"
