I really think that their needs to be a new mental illness coined for people who have an unhealthy obsession with empathy.

“Empaths” as they call them are mentally ill people. They are separated from reality and lack the ability to think rationally about anything. They are in a constant state of anxiety that drives them to be feel like they have to be constantly thwarting the negative aspects of life and saving others from it.
