Yes, what Pence did was a double betrayal.

They asked Pence to adjourn the Senate for 10 days so they could conduct a emergency 10-day audit.

Pence then reply with a letter saying: he does not believe he has the ability to "unilaterally" accept or reject electoral votes. Which, again was not what he was asked to do. The second back stab to spin a narrative that Trump wanted anything other than an audit of the votes.
