Except for that symbol isn't a fucking Nazi symbol.....
Just because one group within the last 100 years used a symbol, it doesn't mean that it's meaning over the several thousand years before that it suddenly moot.....
That doesn't matter though. Unless you have the means to explain that to every TV news watching citizen who's being told it's a Nazi symbol.
It doesn't matter what the truth is, it only matters what the public can be made to believe. And the "nazi" connotations of that symbol (as the media reported it) was probably enough to influence at least some people negatively.
Everyone needs to realize that we're in a propaganda war here. And in a propaganda war it doesn't matter what the truth is, it only matters what you can convince people to believe. That's the only measure of effectiveness. You know very well people are capable of believing all sorts of untrue stuff. The truth being the truth doesn't stop people believing in falsehoods.
