The deadline for the signature collection is March 10, I believe. Then once the signatures are verified and the petition granted, it goes to the Secretary of State to schedule the special election.
Our recall election windows are really small though, like three months, but the field is a shitshow. Last time I think we had 75+ people to choose from, including Gallagher and some woman who I think was an escort, but was famous for all her billboards around LA.
We got the Governator out of that election, and replaced a Democrat, so I think it went well overall. I’m hoping for a repeat.
