The Warner Bros cartoons from WWII are classics. The Bugs Bunny vs the Japanese ones were some of my favorites. I got lucky that I grew up in an era where they hadn’t been banned yet, but good luck finding them these days.
Many people don’t know that they tried to cancel Speedy Gonzales a couple decades ago, but the Mexicans pitched a fit because they absolutely adore that mouse. So WB resurrected him due to public outcry, despite the less-than-favorable caricatures of Mexican culture.
