Anyone know why Pence hasn't sued Lin Wood yet, who accused him of being a pedo with young teen boys. A man of Pence's public stature surely wouldn't let a public statement like that from a very well-known lawyer go worldwide without a major lawsuit, would he??

Defamation law for public figures is tricky. In order for Pence to win, he’d have to undoubtedly prove Wood was these things KNOWING they were complete falsehoods.
The standard is called “actual malice,” but I’m def not a law expert by any means haha. I just recall hearing that it’s difficult for public figures to win defamation suits because it’s incredibly hard to prove actual malice
