If anyone wonders what this pede may have meant by that:
trump requested reinforcements but was denied (trump wanted enough LE there to handle that kind of crowd but even though LE estimated 1.5-3 million people based on travel patterns, didn't happen)
instead people who were supposed to be there or on stand-by were told to go home (I confirmed this myself). When LE "pooped their pants" (and I'm not sure I believe that narrative knowing how this was set up) after they tear-gassed their own officers in the crowd, reinforcements had to come from AN HOUR AWAY.
security was pulled from the event and kept WELL below what it should have been on the day of (that is NOT protocol or how things are normally done)
there is footage of police (or people dressed as police) removing barricades and inviting/motioning people into the capitol
oh yeah, lest we forget about the hastily installed bullet-proof screen and one hour delay to trump's speech while he was balls out naked and exposed to lines of fire because security that should have been there wasn't (this one I haven't dug into and I honestly don't care about given the spin of 1/6 as a "riot").
