My whole post other than the end was facts explaining to you how public opinion is constructed seeing as you were having trouble understanding its origins. It is nearly solely derived from people discussing it, its how many myths and legends were formed in antiquity. I never accused you directly of calling him crazy, just pointed out what the label stems from. i agreed with your first sentence that he needs to realize what public opinion is, assuming he doesnt already know, which i believe he does anyway. But only so he can curate it for the dumb dumbs who can only comprehend the world through the lens of popular opinion.
