Let me tell you "do-gooder" Christians a thing about this world: a woman who really loves her child isn't going to abort, no matter her circumstances. I've known homeless women that have carried through. Single moms. Even rape victims that have carried through.
Any woman that doesn't have the heart to love her child in the womb isn't going to love that child any more if you bribe her with tax money. We already have public housing, food stamps and free daycare for single moms.
YES, women who have a financial sweetener at the very beginning of motherhood do indeed abort less.
BUT do they love and care for those children as much or more?
I don't care about preventing abortions with women that shouldn't be having kids in the first place. That's what "do-gooder" Christians refuse to accept. Y'all act as if its the ultimate good, but what happens to those children? They grow up neglected, even resented, in squalor.
I get that you want to feel warm and fuzzy about "saving a life", but its no favor to bring those kids into the world just to dump them on women that don't want 'em. Again, no woman that really, truly love their child is going to abort. She'll steal from every grocery store in the county before she aborts her baby.
