I went to Beijing almost 20 years ago, they had the worlds largest McDonalds at the time and an ice cream cone was 8 cents. That was cool. The Forbidden City was interesting, and there was a huge beautiful park nearby that charged an entrance fee to keep out the riff raff.

Not too much else to see there. The food will give you the runs.
