No one cares about this issue and many don't even know it's an issue yet it will render any business basically unusable whenever Google says so, even worse, it will slander the business as "unsafe" and malicious without mentioning false positives exist, and of course, without repercussions. They have flagged people incorrectly in the past as you can read here. They have even branded "unsafe" a linux program that's 10 years old (twitter link).

To "address" this they provide a clumsy inaccurate dashboard, which beforehand forces you to sign up to Google's services and accept their terms of service, to kind of point out "what's wrong" and will review your appeal in days to WEEKS as their website says so. Imagine your website incorrectly being shut down and slandered for a week. You can't reach a human being through their site for this issue, you won't even get an email when you send an appeal, nor a confirmation you did anything at all until "someone takes your case" if they do it at all, and if they don't like what you sent, they will delay your appeal even longer.

All mainstream browsers bow down to Google for Google Safe Browsing, one way or the other. Some downplay it by saying they make a local copy of the database of banned sites, like Brave, some say they don't query Google directly with your IP address or sites, like Apple's Safari, but they all join in. It's a digital faceless imposed dictatorial bureaucracy and no one knows it's sitting right underneath the web browser you are using right now.

It's a kill switch and a slander machine for any website or business Google doesn't like.

Good luck selling again after all your clients have seen your e-commerce branded as "malicious", and even better luck explaining that it was all a mistake from Google, like if anyone will believe you over Google.
