play victim, get special concessions, unite the nation under a nationalistic socialist (i.e. nazi) government to create the greatest economic super power flip in recent history
teach patriotism to your population, tell them the rest of the world is evil, then send them out into the world, with access to money, to gain 'influence'
build this influence, buy favors, ask for small things, then give more favors and ask for bigger things
you have money, you have influence, you dictate the narrative
push the narrative to force your enemy to be self-destructive, hate themselves, stop them breeding, tell them that their country is their enemy, then your enemy is divided, so they won't even see your influence any longer
control the narrative, shut down anyone who might pose a threat, put them down hard, make sure there is no dissent, take the power from anyone who could be a challenge
win - you now have people in your back pocket, useful idiots, sheep and a few dissenters (that have no platform, no voice, no money, no power, no connections, that aren't a threat)
