The House just passed the George Floyd Justice In Policing Act. It still has to pass the senate. They need 10 Republicans to sign on. Make sure none of them do!
It bans no-knock warrants and police chokeholds, ends qualified immunity, and establishes new standards for policing and transparency. Police didn't have a say in the matter. They never do. Even when they said defunding wasn't going to work, no one listened. Crime went up. Here we are. Again. No one listening.
If what you posted is what it is I agree with all that other then choke holds as if used right can be just fine. Also take out qualified immunity.
