I said be ready to defend. They guy already said he wants to kill his brother. I dunno about you but I'm a father. And if anyone threatened to my face to kill my son I'd cut his fucking throat.

I'd like to think that his father is preparing for such a scenario just in case.

Thank you. Yes are just trying to make sure we do everything right here. We would really like for this to just go away, but we are looking into lawyers and getting armed. As his brother, I had an even stronger reaction about this than my father but I'm in much less of a position to do anything. But I also have much less to lose. If anything fucking happens to him... This situation is ripping us apart right now

Film them. Get names, badge numbers, everything. Write everything down. Dates, and times.

Such and such said this on this date. On this date at this time this car circled our house. Etc.

No one goes anywhere alone. Buddy teams always and armed. If what you are saying is accurate then these fuckers are way past the line.

If he is threatening, and is a cop, it won't happen. Yes, one should always be ready to defend ones life. Be polite, be courteous, but always have a plan to kill everyone else in the room. Remove oneself from potential violent situations. If backed into a corner, with real threat of life or limb in the moment, respond with such force that not only ends the threat, but all others as well.

FBI agents killed Randy Weaver's wife and son at Ruby Ridge. If you think a Cop won't violently kill someone who doesn't deserve then I disagree.

Kinda hard to remove yourself from a situation when they are literally circling around the block and on the look out from you. It's a timebomb waiting to happen and they need to feel some pressure from a judge and laywer to deescalate. But who knows when that can materialize, so in the meantime they need to prepare for the possibility that this guy isn't all bluster.
