  1. Continue keeping your brother's morale up. Never leave him alone to his own devices. And make sure that you do not make him feel he's a burden, and that all you're doing is a pain.

  2. It might help, in this case, if you're rep is a dem. Police abuse may help them in their cause.

  3. If your rep is a republican, go to him anyway.

  4. Might help to retain an attorney, a prominent one, before going to your rep. Also, the bullies knowing you have a lawyer will hopefully make them back off.

  5. If you could study your police force and see if the chief is a man of integrity, maybe get an appointment to see him.

I'm sorry your family is going through this for something so petty. Harassing a minor is just pathetic behavior from adults.

Document everything you can. Video the harassment. Will keep your family in mind in my prayers.

That is genius, I'm sending my governor an email right now as we speak and will be making some phone calls tomorrow. Thank you for the kind words. I tried lifting his spirits up today and it worked a little. They are trying to bully a good kid. They've been catching him alone and know he's helpless and we're trying to help him every way we can. I'm astounded they'd approach and harass a minor while he's alone but this is the reality of the situation. First thing I told him was "DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM, REQUEST AN ADULT PRESENT AND ASK IF YOU ARE UNDER ARREST / FREE TO GO" He has no idea of his rights and they haven't been inclined to inform him of them. Just verbal abuse and stalking
