This entire situation is just fucked and makes no sense. The school system is plain retarded and shouldn’t be allowing the kid to go the next grade if he’s failing, the mom literally didn’t even know for the past 4 years and never took any effort to know, and the kid evidently put in no effort in school.
Someone is embezzling the school’s taxpayer money and this just results in the endless cycle of violence.
I'm not in support of teachers in general, but most of the teachers in these communities can't do shit about it. They're literally not allowed to fail more than a certain percent of their class, especially nowadays, so even the kids who never show up are given Cs, Ds, whatever. The kids pass even though they didn't show up that semester and now they're the next teachers problem. The teachers can't control the kids who do show up either, they just fuck off on their phones or fight each other, so if a kid does want to try to learn they don't have a chance either.
