I went to this "extended stay america" hotel once in Manchester, CT.
We went into our hotel and the room smelled like curry and onions so bad we literally couldn't stay, not even if we wanted to.
The hotel clerk apologizes, tells us she didn't mean to give us an "indian room, These rooms are exclusively saved for Indians because she said they cannot get the smell out, even after tearing out the curtains. "
She looked pissed off like they just forever lost another Room to indian guests.
I don't know if this is a real thing, but the smell was real AF.
Side note: Apparently foreign Asians claim Americans smell like cheeseburgers and spoiled milk.
Well the obvious answer is that most Indian people do actually smell like curry.
It is known.
