This Covid bill would not be 1.3 and more than 8 percent would be going to the people and Covid relief if Trump were in office. Now Texas and the other red states are paying the price because of a compromised Supreme Court and Justice Roberts.

When they send the tax bill, just say they have no standing to collect.
Can we identify tax increases paying off our debt or is this just blended in with the rest of the tax increases?
It would be really nice to have policy sliders, where a citizen could decide where they want their tax dollars to be allocated to. Say the tax rate is 13%, i get to weight my taxes so that 50% of my contribution goes to a specific policy proposal. There could even be a discretionary fund and a foreign aid fund that people could support, everyone would still pay taxes, but it would be policy focused and not party focused.
Or we could, you know, go back to bottom line taxes for defense of country and then the rest of our money we could give to private charities of our choice without the gooberment as the middleman.
Ya, the point I was making is that 'the gooberment' should just be code. Fire all bureaucrats. Confiscate their pensions. I would go so far as to try them for treason and confiscate their property. I believe in an ancient principle called contrapasso. It is when the sin you commit is rebounded upon you as punishment. They tried to steal America, they should have all their property confiscated. All of it. You know, for the greater good.
I think that is completely fair. I, too, believe in punishment including restitution.
Elias you should make this a post and promote it. I think it is a great idea and I don't think many people know about policy sliders and if it gained any traction that would be a huge win for us. Great idea.

This is why we have to secede. Otherwise we face an eternal stream of printed up money going to corrupt interest in blue states, while we get screwed with eternal taxes and inflation and get nothing for it.
Let's say Texas is paying off NYs debts, then where are my NY Representatives?
Since this is the case, then Texans, et al, must be given the Right to vote for NY, (and other communist States involved) State and Federal legislators.
