We are losing our standards for law enforcement and military. If you are so heavy that a perp can jog 20 feet and wind you, you shouldn't be in law enforcement.

If you are so skinny you look like you're as heavy as a wet paper bag, you shouldn't be in law enforcement.

Standards are important, it's not trying to discriminate against overly heavy or overly skinny people. You need to be able to perform the job.
