Article 2, section 1, clause2 of the constitution states that only state legislature can change election laws, this is blatantly unconstitutional and the supreme court had better funds their guts this time, but I won't hold my breath. What pulls at me most, the constitution isn't just the law of the land, it's a contract between the people, the states and the federal government, and if the fed ignores the constitution than they are ignoring the document that allows for their very existence, it appears we are living in a paradox.
They shouldn't have been counted, and they wouldn't have been if the supreme court would have taken TX's case, that's why they didn't, they would have had to side with TX and all those state's elections would have been ruled null and void. The Wisconsin supreme court even ruled that the indefinitely confined votes were illegal, but only after potato was sworn in.
Unfortunately, after what I saw out of this SC in the recent past, I wouldn't be too confident about them striking it down. Maybe a black eye for another Justice would be needed to seal the deal...
Yes they do. This is more political theater. When it fails to pass the Senate, we'll have a few days of "Reeee! Voter suppression!", until they see the next shiny object.
Republicans insulate the public from the true insanity of the Dems with this obstruction.
Passing something like this could get the cuck Republicans to actually act - for them to actually arrest people - fight for their laws etc.. if the Supreme court would let it stand then Texas would really secede.
The problem with our current track is that slowly gradually the left is winning. As we compromise on everything. Sure minimum wage won't go to $15 it will go to $10.
In reality there should be NO minimum wage. If some kid wants to push grocery carts back to the store for 8 dollars an hour after school - why not allow that? Kid gets some exercise a few extra bucks..
Republicans in reality only want to enrich themselves.. We need to force them to stand up for us..
It's just Paper now. Let's secede since that's not illegal. Once we've done it. SVOTUS will have no standing, and it's moot.

There was so much bad info flying around after the election, but isn't this the heart of the matter for many states?
They changed their election laws illegally, without going through the state legislature.
How can those mail in votes even count to begin with?

Which is why I said that even this Supreme Court would have to shoot it down.
No standing.

I can't imagine even this Supreme Court allowing that to happen, even if it did pass the Senate.

30% of the country are not americans, they're venezualan wannabes
and they love this
Don't they need 10 Republicans to vote yes for this to pass in Senate, seems highly unlikely.
Not sure why you think it's unlikely. Over the past few months do you trust RINOs to do anything besides destroy this country?

This could get wild, they receive a Trillion plus Ballots :)
Gee I wonder what party could have stopped this on Nov 3, Jan 6? Bueller? Bueller?

We don't have a country anymore.
