80 years is a blink of an eye. People thought WW11 was the war to end all wars but it was not. The 50's and 60's were a time of optimism and growth in both America and Europe. Build back better had real meaning in Europe. Now I really don't know what to think. I think we have some real wake up calls in our future. Hopefully we are as resilient as our ancestors.
