If they worked they’re be a biohazard. They'd be disposed of in a biohazard disposal facility. I see people on Instagram on the beach picking them bare handed and throwing them away.

You know, I hate to do it, but maybe if we start littering used disposable masks everywhere they will ban them like straws or plastic bags and we can move on from this stuff and breathe freely again

On the weekends I help my aunt and uncle with their shop. One of the things I do is occasionally clean the parking lot, which was always full of cigarette butts. Now, it's full of cigarette butts and masks. And one particularly unpleasant day I found a trash bag full of masks, rubber gloves, and used condoms.
