I stopped shopping at box stores over a decade ago. Amazon was tougher but even that worked out better than I imagined. Instead of wasting time streaming shows I'm researching better products, learning new skills and spending more time with people I care about. Could not be happier.
I boycotted Target for 15 years because when my oldest daughter was 2, they wouldn't refund me for a pair of their own brand of pants that fell apart in the wash after ONE washing. Then I went back to shopping there. Then I started boycotting again when they started the men in women's bathroom stuff.
Costco I gave up last year, and now I am 3 months Amazon shopping free. I think it is important to be careful with our money and support, and this is one way I can contribute.
