I hate when people tell me,"yeah the mask is stupid but it makes people more comfortable" or "I daunt want to call attention to myself." We have an opportunity to make this weapon useless.

Admittedly I order my groceries delivered because I am in a "mandate" state and have massively low tolerance for stupidity. Thankfully most people don't seem to wear them walking outside alone. Unfortunately, some of the local businesses I used to frequent went hardcore early on out of fear of Wuhan Lujan (not the virus). I don't buy/order from them anymore.
I don't bother with the various "tent" restaurants. I can still support a lot of local business using selflane, which is like the local upstart New Mexican version of Doordash and Square rolled into one. And they're getting pretty big lately.
And since it's not like there's much to do outside of eat anymore, I've been saving a lot of money even with the delivery fees. 🤷♀️ Can't really have impulse buys if you can't window shop anymore.
If I go into a business at all, I wear a plague doctor mask just to lampoon the whole thing.
