It is becoming evident that the Republican establishment did not even make a faustian bargain with the dems to get rid of Trump. No, it seems now that the Republicans weren't thinking even a few weeks into the future, and now the dems are applying the screws to Rs because there was no deal. Or if there was a deal, it's off because, you know, it's the dems, and the deal really was faustian.
