The majority of this country is overweight. Over 30% are obese. The entirety of the national healthcare apparatus has been geared towards treating the complications of excessive weight. Diabetes, coronary disease, strokes, cancer, joint degeneration, are all positively correlated with being overweight. Forget about correlative, being overweight is causative of all of these conditions. When you let yourself go, to this extent, you are abdicating your moral responsibility to keep healthcare costs down, for your countrymen.

Look, many people have emotional issues, that lead them to overeat. Life is hard, for many people, and food is one of the few positive stimuli that they get, in life. I want you to get help, get healthy, and live a long, fulfilling life, full of friends and family. If we eliminated the obesity problem, we could crush the pharma industry. Anyone could get a broken bone set, for nearly free. Cancer treatments would be pennies, on the dollar. No one would have to be denied treatment, for want of money. We don’t need help from the government; we could crush the pill-pushers, ourselves.
