No, Covid has to be a different disease. On June 17, 2020, there were 151 US covid deaths for people aged 0-24. That accounts for about 0.13% of all covid deaths. Source 1 Flu deaths, on the other hand, from 2018 to 2019 in the 0-17 age group accounted for about 1.4% of flu deaths. Source 2 I used different brackets because it doesn't show the deaths per age, only the brackets, which are different between the two sources. If covid were the same as the flu it should be killing the same percentage of children as the flu.
