This is why I left the Republicans 15 years ago in favor of libertarians. (Down ballot anyway. I voted Trump twice and Ron Paul twice). The GOP was always way too supportive of federal police agencies like the FBI and NSA, not to mention globalist organizations like the CIA.
So I'm glad to see R's adopting a stance that is consistent with their ideology. We shouldn't even have these tyrannical federal bureaucracies to begin with. Let the left own all this shit.
